Jennifer Estremera Honored as “Women Leaders in Tech – IP” Winner at 2024 California Legal Awards

Jennifer Estremera, Deputy Managing Partner of the firm, has been recognized as a winner in the "Women Leaders in Tech – Intellectual Property" category at the 2024 California Legal Awards by Law.com and The Recorder. This award acknowledges the exceptional contributions of women lawyers advancing technology and innovation.

Estremera, a seasoned trial lawyer, brings over a decade of experience in managing high-stakes commercial and intellectual property cases across federal and state courts in the U.S. Her notable achievement during the award submission period involved securing a $673 million total award for Kove against Amazon Web Services. This included a patent infringement verdict of $525 million, further supplemented by $148 million in interest on August 20, 2024.

From hundreds of submissions, only a dozen women were selected as winners, highlighting the competitive nature of this recognition. The winners, along with all honorees, will be celebrated at an awards event on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the JW Marriott Live in Los Angeles.
