Courtland Reichman Named Finalist for “IP Lawyer of the Year” by Law.com and The Recorder

Courtland Reichman has been honored as a finalist for the "Intellectual Property Lawyer of the Year" award at the 2024 California Legal Awards by Law.com and The Recorder. This distinguished recognition underscores his significant contributions and leadership in intellectual property law.

A key factor in his selection was his pivotal role as lead counsel in the Kove trial, where he secured a remarkable $673 million total award for Kove IO against Amazon Web Services. This victory, achieved through successful post-trial motions, affirmed a $525 million patent infringement verdict and added $148 million in interest on August 20, 2024.

Emerging as one of only six finalists from a pool of hundreds of submissions is a testament to Reichman's track record of wins and influence on the intellectual property landscape. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the JW Marriott Live in Los Angeles.
