who we are

Reichman Jorgensen Lehman & Feldberg LLP is an elite national trial firm relentlessly focused on putting clients first. We are a firm of trial lawyers specializing in complex commercial and intellectual property cases, with offices across Silicon Valley, New York, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, and Austin. For decades, our attorneys have been called on by the world’s most sophisticated clients because we know how to win, and recognize it only counts as a “win” if it serves our client’s needs. Reichman Jorgensen Lehman & Feldberg is recognized among the nation’s leading trial boutiques by Benchmark Litigation, The National Law Journal, and Chambers.

Our success is grounded in elite talent – creative thinkers from diverse backgrounds; talented communicators and strategists who never will be out-thought or out-hustled; and passionate members of their communities committed to their duties as officers of the court in the highest traditions of the trial bar, representing those in need pro bono and serving the public interest. We bring a passion for trial advocacy that cannot be missed.

Clients First

This is the heart of our approach. Job one is to understand our client’s needs, and then figure out how to use litigation to address them. Litigation is not an end unto itself, but one tool to help solve problems.  We pride ourselves in working with clients to develop a thorough strategic approach.

No Billable Hours

Our commitment to clients is reflected in our elimination of the billable hour. Its time has come. Our fee arrangements align interests, provide fee certainty, reward efficiency, and incentivize success. We work to win, unleashing our talented attorneys who work tirelessly to deliver exceptional results, and keep our clients coming back for more.

Elite Talent Exclusively

We believe exceptional talent wins cases. Our attorneys are from the most prestigious clerkships, including the Supreme Court, the D.C. Circuit, the Federal Circuit, the 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 7th, 10th, and 11th Circuits, and district courts around the country, as well as prestigious law schools such as Harvard, Stanford, U. Chicago, Yale, Columbia, Berkeley, Georgetown, and others. The firm’s lawyers have undergraduate and advanced technical degrees in diverse fields including electrical engineering, physics, computer science, computer networks, biotechnology and zoology.

A Truly Diverse Team

RJLF’s commitment to diversity is one of the firm’s founding principles. We believe our diverse talent brings a diversity of thoughts, experiences, and perspectives that inevitably improve decision making and communication with our clients, judges and juries. This is not aspirational; it’s part of our DNA: 75% of our firm’s lawyers come from diverse backgrounds, and most of our ranks are talented women trial lawyers.

Notably, Law360’s annual “Women in Law Report” recognized the firm for having more women equity partners than any other U.S. firm of its size and scored as the most gender diverse of all U.S. law firms, according to percentage of women equity partners. As part of the firm’s unwavering commitment to diversity, we also have achieved Mansfield Certification “Plus” status by Diversity Lab. This signifies not only our adherence to the program’s consideration and transparency standards, but also that we have attained a 30% representation of historically underrepresented lawyers in our current leadership roles and pathway activities.

Philosophy: Excellence

Our philosophy is simple – put clients first, field teams of exceptional lawyers, and do the hard work necessary to win. We believe a trial lawyer’s job is to simplify complex cases into understandable narratives and themes, allowing judges and juries to understand our client’s point of view, and why they should win. Our credibility before judges and juries is paramount. It reflects on our clients – without credibility, the message is lost because it makes no difference whether you’re right if nobody is listening. We believe in extensive preparation – we never walk into court with less than complete mastery of the case. Direct, straightforward communication with our clients is a hallmark of our firm’s approach. Our attorneys are known for being easy to work with, whether it’s making in-house counsel’s job easier, addressing business issues with executives, or partnering with co-counsel.

Integrated Client Value Services

We approach our cases with an eye toward the highest level of client service. This involves frequent communication and transparency. We provide training to our lawyers in areas that improve client service and promote efficiencies, such as advanced project management skills. We are committed to state-of-the-art technology to improve results, partner better with our clients, and manage costs. We invest in communications systems and training that promote and ensure frequent client contact and forums for feedback.

We also believe in investing in client relationship enhancement programs, such as pro bono and CLE collaborations. Our services also include a state of the art ESI and document discovery practice overseen by a firm ESI Partner. The practice utilizes a hand-picked roster of document review attorneys using leading-edge technology platforms, overseen directly with quality-control systems, all at competitive prices. By providing these services in-house while integrating tightly with our trial teams, the firm is able to improve the quality and efficiency of its representation.

The Law Firm Of Tomorrow

Our mission is to be the law firm of tomorrow: building enduring relationships of trust with our clients, lawyers, and communities; eliminating billable hours; rewarding elite talent for contributions; fostering true collaboration and client service; and investing in resources that allow our lawyers to fight to win the most important battles of the day. Our tradition includes deep commitment to public interest litigation. Our lawyers have handled cases involving civil rights, immigration, prison abuse, indigent defense, homelessness, wrongful conviction, and veterans’ issues, among others. Our privilege of being trial lawyers naturally involves representing those in need, whether it be high-profile impact litigation or a person who will be evicted from an apartment but for a lawyer willing to serve.
