Khue Hoang, Philip Eklem, and Connor Houghton Speak at VPG’s Webinar on Proceedings Before the ITC & PTAB
On August 5, 2021, Virtual Patent Gateway (VPG) will host Khue Hoang, Philip Eklem, and Connor Houghton, elite practitioners from Reichman Jorgensen Lehman & Feldberg (RJLF), on a panel about “The Ins & Outs of Related Proceedings Before the International Trade Commission (ITC) and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB),” two popular forums for patent litigation. Although these areas have different scopes for proceedings and offer different remedies, patent disputes are often fought on both fronts, creating complex litigation scenarios.
Khue, Philip, and Connor will provide a brief overview of proceedings at the ITC and the PTAB, discuss practice points, and dive into current events related to litigating patents in both forums.

Khue Hoang, Co-Managing Partner of RJLF’s New York office, has more than 20 years’ experience representing clients in high-stakes patent infringement and licensing disputes. Phil leverages his technical background and experience before the ITC, federal district courts, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to develop creative and effective strategies for clients, whether plaintiff or defendant.
Connor Houghton is an associate in RJLF’s Washington, D.C. office. Connor focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation in a wide variety of technologies. He has participated in cases before federal district and appellate courts, the International Trade Commission, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
