The National Law Journal’s Q&A with Jaime Cardenas-Navia

Most recently, Jaime successfully navigated two plaintiff-side patent infringement litigations from discovery until trial. Examining multiple key witnesses, Jaime helped the team secure a $15 million patent infringement verdict on behalf of Droplets, Inc. against tech giant Yahoo, following a three-week jury trial in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Jaime is also leading a series of patent infringement cases for VideoLabs, Inc. in courts across the country, enforcing a portfolio of patents that covers foundational video technologies in bet-the-company litigation. One of the cases against Amazon settled favorably after less than a year of litigation. Jaime continues to represent VideoLabs against Fortune 500 companies Netflix, Meta, and Apple.
