RJLF Welcomes IP Star Gina Cremona in Silicon Valley

Reichman Jorgensen Lehman & Feldberg (RJLF) announced that intellectual property (IP) star Gina Cremona has joined as Counsel in its Silicon Valley office. Gina focuses on complex IP disputes, advising clients in all aspects of patent litigation across a wide range of technologies and regulated industries.

“Gina is an exceptional patent trial lawyer with a profound understanding of IP issues with complicated technologies,” said Jennifer Estremera, the firm’s Deputy Managing Partner. “Her background in chemical and biomedical engineering, coupled with her extensive experience in high tech, makes her truly unique among her peers and an invaluable resource to our clients. We’re so excited Gina has joined our team.”

Gina’s impressive experience spans several forums, including district and appellate court, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). Representing 10x Genomics, Inc. against Bio-Rad Laboratories, Gina helped secure a Limited Exclusion Order and Cease and Desist Order from the ITC prohibiting the importation of infringing Bio-Rad microfluidic products into the United States. She also helped obtain successful determinations at the PTAB for 10x as both patent owner and petitioner, and secured a favorable eve of trial settlement ending the parties’ multi-front battle over microfluidic genetic analysis technology.

Prior to joining RJLF, Gina worked at Tensegrity Law Group, Wilson Sonsini, and Ropes & Gray. She clerked for the Honorable Jimmie V. Reyna at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and for the Honorable Otis D. Wright II in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Gina earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. She attended the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she earned her M.S. in Chemical Engineering and her graduate research focused on designing and fabricating microfluidic devices for biological assays. Gina also received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University.
