Brian Baran Recognized as a Rising Star by The National Law Journal

The National Law Journal has recognized RJLF trial and appellate attorney Brian Baran as a Rising Star of the Plaintiffs Bar in its 2024 Elite Trial Lawyers Awards.

A key factor in Baran's recognition was his successful involvement in the California Restaurant Association's appeal against Berkeley's gas ban, which led to a landmark victory for the restaurant industry.

The Elite Trial Lawyer Awards celebrate law firms and lawyers for their exceptional plaintiffs work in high-stakes bench or jury trials, or significant settlements. To be honored, winners must have achieved a noteworthy victory during the contest period and demonstrated an impressive track record of successes over the past three to five years.

From hundreds of submissions, plaintiffs law firms across the United States have advanced to the final round of the competition. Winners in 23 award categories will be revealed at the ETL award ceremony, held at Lotte New York Palace in New York City on July 11, 2024. ETL will also recognize individual honorees for Elite Women of the Plaintiffs Bar, Rising Stars of the Plaintiffs Bar, and the Lifetime Achievement Award.
