Natalie Griffin, an associate in Reichman Jorgensen Lehman & Feldberg’s Washington, D.C. office*, focuses on complex commercial and intellectual property litigation.

Natalie’s patent work includes representing Densify in fact and expert discovery issues in an ongoing patent infringement matter concerning Densify patents which cover virtualization technology. Previously, the RJLF trial team secured a $236 million patent infringement verdict for Densify against tech giant VMware—a verdict recognized in The National Law Journal’s 2021 “Verdicts Hall of Fame” (7th largest verdict in past five years) and among the “Top 100 Verdicts of 2020” (8th largest verdict in the country).

During law school, Natalie served as an Articles Editor on The University of Chicago Law Review and was a research assistant for Professor Jonathan Masur. As part of the Abrams Environmental Law Clinic, she led the team representing the Center for Biological Diversity and Hoosier Environmental Council. Her team brought litigation against the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service for Endangered Species Act violations, and she successfully negotiated and recovered attorneys’ fees from the Department of Justice. She also worked with economists authoring amicus briefs explaining how to calculate the cost of climate damages in federal decision-making.

Natalie received her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, where she was the recipient of two prestigious honors: The Rubenstein Scholarship, a three-year, full-tuition, merit-based scholarship; and the Kirkland & Ellis Scholar distinction awarded to the top 5% of the first-year (1L) class. Natalie also received her B.A. from the University of Maryland.
